Physical therapy education prepares you for a great career that’s both a lot of fun and tremendously rewarding. As a physical therapy technician, you will enjoy solid job security, as well as a flexible and exciting career. You’ll also get to form real relationships with your patients–a human element that can be missing in other medical professions and specialties.

the has been one of the top vocational schools in the country for over 30 years, and their physical therapy program is offered at three of their largest campuses. You can get an associate degree in physical therapy from the Mesa, Tucson, and Phoenix West campuses. Instructors are all successful area professionals, who can give you invaluable insights into what it’s like to work in the field. You’ll get hand-on training, as well as access to great research centers and resources.

As a profession, physical therapy is growing. In particular, there is more of a call for physical therapy technicians and aids all the time. Many patients begin work with a physical therapist, but then continue their treatment with a technician because it is more affordable. This means that technicians and aids often do diagnostic and creative work as well as following through on treatment programs determined by doctors.

Physical therapy aides will work more directly with a therapist, taking care of the treatment area, and ensuring that sessions run smoothly and are productive. These are not licensed positions, which means that serving as an aide can be a first step while you are working toward a technician’s certification. If you study at the, you will have access to job listings and a network, as well as to financial aid resources, so that you can be well on your way to the career you want in physical therapy while still earning your living and having time for your family.
