<p>The medical radiography program at the&#8217;s Phoenix Westside campus provides you with the necessary training to take a position as a radiology technologist. During the program, you will receive not only the knowledge and information to work as a radiology technologist, but also learn the skills to perform your job in a clinic or hospital. Students are taught for three 16 week semesters in the classroom and then complete three semesters of clinical work in the Phoenix area before taking an accreditation exam.</p>
<p>As a registered radiology technologist, you will be prepared to work with a radiologist. Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, preparing patients for exams, and interpreting the findings of these exams. While in radiography school at the, you will receive this hands-on training so that you are well prepared to enter the work force.</p>
